This application is designed to allow the renewal of professional and vocational licenses issued by the State of Hawaii.

This online license renewal service is made possible by eHawaii.gov and the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA), Professional and Vocational Licensing Division (PVLD). This service is accessible 24 hours a day during the renewal period. The following types of licenses may be renewed online beginning on August 4, 2008 10a.m. (HST) and before the renewal deadline indicated below. Renewals after the date below must be submitted by mail or in person to the DCCA/PVLD.

Renewal deadline: September 30, 2008, midnight (HST).

Active Status

  • State tax clearance valid within 6 months of October 1, 2008.
    • Your tax clearance name on file with the State Department of Taxation MUST match your contractor license name on file with the DCCA/PVLD.

All active RMEs with a C-19 (asbestos) specialty classification must submit in person or by mail proof of completion of 16 hours of EPA or board approved asbestos refresher training courses taken within the last two years; or if license obtained in the second year of the biennium (after 9/30/07), submit proof of completion of an 8-hour course taken within the last year. By renewing online you are further attesting that you have completed the required training course.
